Occult Research Club

The occult research club is one of the oldest clubs on campus, but unlike it’s counterparts it has had a steady decline of members and student involvement over the course of the last few years. Once a club with wide teacher support and popularity, now a club facing the threat of disbandment, the current club leadership hope to reel in new members this up coming club rush in autumn! Only having three members is not a good look…

• Among classmates and teacher’s the real motives of the club are unknown as it’s seen mostly as a place for oddballs who run around spouting about paranormal activity in dingy janitor clothing. Members are also sworn to secrecy about the existence of cursed spirits. Mostly not to cause mass panic among their peers and locals. The system has worked for them so far..
• Criteria: Pass the color plate test, that’s the only real standard the needs to be meet in order to join. The reason for this being that ordinary folk cannot see the symbols or letters inscribed on these plates and therefore cannot sense or see spirits that don’t make their presence known.

Community Service

Community service is one of the main principals of the occult club, due to it’s dwindling members and loss of funding most students can spot the few members cleaning trash, classrooms, and assisting teachers and the elderly when not having a club “assignment.” All actions taken by the Occult Research club are meant to be considered social work by its members, this includes expelling cursed spirits since it’s all done in effort to benefit the community and protect people’s daily life. The club is only really popular among older generations these days.

• Community Service will be actively enforced by club leadership, if a club member refuses to meet the standard Mr. President is known to “lecture” them into shape.

Assignments

Assignments are missions or tasks assigned to a club member or members. This basically includes the classification of a cursed apparition and members are expected to exorcise them. A member’s division and skill are taken into account when an assignment is given by the VP, and for beginners usually joint tasks are given with fellow club members in order to guarantee success with minimal fuss.

Divisions

Club members are categorized into skill groups known as divisions, these divisions are split into three.

• 1st Division: These members have a high understanding of their own capabilities and limits, as well as skill and experience in excorsicing evil spirits with exceptional control of their gifts. They are also expected to help teach and mentor lower division members. ****
• 2nd Division: Students in this division have a general good understanding and control over their strength as well as ability to work in a team. Most students here are second or third years.
• 3rd Division: Do not fear! Students who find themselves in 3rd division only have more room to grow, with a lot of raw potential and power. Most if not all students here are first years.
